- In a small saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in orange juice and 1/4 cup water. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Add cherries, orange zest and vanilla; bring to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.
- Spoon frozen yogurt into individual dessert dishes. Top with cherries and sauce, and serve.
