- In a large skillet cook and stir bacon and beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain fat. Transfer to a 3/12- to 4-quart slow cooker.
- Add beans, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard; stir to combine. Cover and cook on LOW 3 to 4 hours. Season with pepper to taste. Stir once more before serving.
