Savory Oatmeal with Soft-Cooked Egg, Turkey Bacon & Parmesan

Combine these healthy breakfast favorites and start your day off right!

  • 1/2 cups Quaker® Oats (Quick or Old Fashioned)*
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sliced scallions
  • 1 tablespoon French fried onions


  1. Prepare oatmeal as usual and set aside.
  2. Coat a small nonstick pan with cooking spray and turn on medium heat. Add bacon, cook until browned, and then remove.
  3. In the same pan, cook egg until the white is set and the yolk is still runny (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Top oatmeal with the egg, bacon, parmesan cheese, scallions, fried onions, and salt & pepper.
  5. *Can also be made with 1/4 cup Quaker Steel Cut Oats
