- Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high (350°F to 400°F). In a medium bowl combine turkey, garlic powder, salt, and freshly ground pepper to taste. Shape into 4 patties 1½ inches thick.
- Place patties on grill. Grill, covered, 5 minutes per side or until an instant-read thermometer registers 165°F. Place portobellos, tomatoes and onion on a vegetable rack or in a grill basket. Grill 2 minutes per side or until lightly charred. Remove from grill.
- Place 1 turkey burger on each portobello. Top with tomato and onion, sprinkle with basil, and (if desired) drizzle with vinegar. Serve immediately.
