- In a 4-quart Dutch oven cook ground beef, onion and garlic over medium-high heat until meat is browned. Drain fat. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, chili powder, cumin and seasoned pepper blend. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.
- Stir in beans to taste and mushrooms. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes more, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Ladle chili into bowls. If desired, serve with cheese and sour cream.
