Ingredients

  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. beef bouillon granules
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 large sweet onion (such as Vidalia), cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 2 tbsp. balsamic vinaigrette

  1. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high direct heat (350°F to 400°F). In a medium bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise, bouillon, Worcestershire and green onion. Cover and refrigerate 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, brush both sides of onion slices with vinaigrette; place on grill. Grill, covered, 10 to 12 minutes or until soft, turning once.
  3. Finely chop grilled onions. Stir into sour cream mixture; mix well. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Serve with crackers, chips or vegetables, or as a sandwich spread.
