French Toast Churro

Dish type


  • 10 slices of bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 Cup milk
  • 1 Tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons butter for frying
  • 2 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Nutella, chocolate or syrup for serving


  1. Cut out heart shapes with the bread, we used a cookie cutter.
  2. Beat the eggs with milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon and salt, set aside.
  3. Combine cinnamon and brown sugar and set aside.
  4. Dip each heart in egg mixture to coat both sides.
  5. Place coated bread in the pan and fry until golden brown.
  6. Once cooked, put french toast in the sugar bowl and mix, coating each heart.
  7. Pair with nutella, berry syrup, whipped cream, ect.
