Flank Steak Marinade

This is a great main dish or a warm up for a larger crowd


  • 1 cup Our Family Brown Sugar
  • 1 Orange, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup Bourbon
  • 1 cup Our Family Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Our Family Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. Our Family Orange Marmalade
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
  • 4 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 Flank Steak


  1. Add all the ingredients into 1 gallon zip lock bag. Squeeze the orange and add it to the bag.
  2. Refrigerate overnight, turning the bag over every once in a while.
  3. Heat the grill to high. About 450 degrees or higher.
  4. Pull the steak out of the bag and onto the hot grill. Let it cook for 8 minutes and flip.
  5. Cook it for an additional 5 minutes or so.
  6. You want a char on the surface of the meat. That’s the sugars making a tasty crust. You’ll get a medium rare-medium- and well done slice out of the meat.
  7. Cut 1/4" slices on the bias.
