- In a small bowl combine coffee, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of the basil, 2 teaspoons of the oil, garlic and salt; stir to moisten evenly. Rub on both sides of steak, pressing to adhere. Cover and refrigerate up to 30 minutes.
- Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high (350°F to 400°F). In a small bowl combine butter and remaining 1 tablespoon basil; cover and refrigerate until serving.
- Drizzle steak with remaining oil, and place on grill. Grill, covered, 5 to 8 minutes per side (145°F for medium-rare) or to desired doneness. Remove from grill; let stand 5 minutes. Top with basil butter, and serve.
