- In a shallow bowl combine breadcrumbs and flour; set aside. In another shallow bowl whisk together eggs, milk and seasoning; set aside.
- In a large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Dip chicken in breadcrumb mixture, then in eggs. Repeat. Place chicken in skillet; cook 2 minutes per side or until golden. Drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet sauté onion, bell pepper and garlic over medium-high heat until tender. Stir in pasta sauce. Return chicken to skillet; bring to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink (165°F). Top each chicken breast with mozzarella; cook just until cheese melts. Serve hot.
