Chocolate Peanut Butter Hummus

  • 1 can drained and rinsed well Chickpeas
  • ½ cup creamy Peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons Milk
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

  1. Add all ingredients into a food processor and process until completely smooth. Add a little more milk if necessary to create a smooth consistency. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a little more brown sugar if needed, particularly if using no-sugar added peanut butter. Serve with graham crackers, carrot sticks, or apple slices.
  2. Note: This recipe yields the best results when a high-powered food processor is used. If you’re using a lower power food processor, you may need to add additional milk or water and your consistency may not be completely smooth.
