Ingredients

  • 1 (14-oz.) sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. olive oil, divided
  • 1 (15-oz.) jar cheese dip
  • 1 (13.5-oz.) bag tortilla chips
  • 1 large red bell pepper, seeded, finely chopped
  • 6 green onions, sliced
  • 1 avocado, pitted, peeled and mashed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, sliced?

  1. Place steak slices in a large resealable plastic bag. Add garlic, lime juice, vinegar and 1/4 cup oil. Seal bag; turn to coat. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
  2. Remove steak slices from marinade; discard marinade. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak slices with salt and pepper to taste; add to skillet. Cook 20 to 30 seconds per side, or to desired doneness.
  3. Heat cheese dip according to label directions. Place chips on 8 plates. Drizzle with warm cheese dip. Top with steak slices, bell pepper, onions, avocado, sour cream and jalapeños. Serve immediately.
