Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (14.5-oz.) cans sliced new potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 (28-oz.) can baked beans
  • 1/4 cup parsley flakes
  • 2 tbsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • Hot sauce (optional)

  1. In a 12-inch skillet, brown ground beef, onion and garlic over medium-high heat; drain.
  2. Add potatoes, salt and cayenne. Stir in beans, parsley and oregano. Reduce heat; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with pepper, and add hot sauce, if desired.
