- In a large skillet cook and stir ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain fat.
- Transfer beef to a 4-quart slow cooker. Add beans, ham, brown sugar, maple syrup, bacon, onion powder, bouillon granules, garlic salt, cayenne pepper and 3/4 cup water. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine. Cover and cook on LOW 10 to 12 hours. Stir once more before serving.
