- In blender or food processor combine mayonnaise, basil leaves, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Blend until smooth; set aside.
- Toast bread slices. Spread basil mayonnaise onto bread while still warm.
- Top one slice of bread with sliced tomatoes, 2 strips bacon, and avocado slices.
- Top with second slice of toasted bread and serve.
