Summary: Thai Union Group, out of an abundance of caution, has announced a recall of specific consignments of shelf stable salted anchovies as there is a possibility of a deviation from product specifications, and the potential to contain levels of histamine above the federal enforceable limits, resulting in product that could become unfit to consume. Consumers who have purchased the products with the affected lot codes are urged to discard the product immediately.
